Dr Olusoji Abidemi Solomon was born on the 10th of February 1969 in the city of Ibadan and he is from Ogbomoso, Oyo State Nigeria. He is married to Dr Mrs Oluremi Olayinka Solomon and their marriage is blessed with two children.

He attended St David's Nursery and Primary School Kudeti, Ibadan, finished 1982 and from there proceeded to the Premier Secondary School, Ibadan Grammar School, Molete, finished in 1987 with West Africa School Certificate. He gained admission into University of Ibadan in 1988 to study medicine and bagged a Bachelor degree in Medicine & Surgery (M.B;B.S) in 1997, he became a fellow of West African College of Physicians in 2008.

Dr Solomon Olusoji Abidemi did his Housemanship in Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu and served with National Youth Service Corps in Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in 1998 to 1999 where he later continued his carrier as a Resident Doctor till 2008. He has been working with the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital as a Consultant Family Physician till date. He is an exerminer with the Faculty of Family Medicine, West African College of Physician.

He held several positions while training and working as Family Physician, he was the Chief Resident, Department of Family Medicine, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. Pioneer Head of department, Department of Family Medicine, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Pioneer Residency Training Coordinator, Pioneer Coordinator, NHIS and Retainership Services, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital from 2009 till 2018, Chairman Hospital Venture Committee. He equally chaired and served as member of other ad hoc committees and panels in Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital where he is the current Chairman Medical Advisory Committee from 09/07/2018.

As the Pioneer Coordinator of NHIS and Retainership Services, he relied on one of the essential ingredient of his training as a Family Physician, being coordinator of continuing, comprehensive care, to make his institution’s NHIS and Retainership Services to be the most preferred in Ekiti State and grown the enrolees base from less than 1,000 in 2009 to above 14,000 in 2009

He is a member of Medical and Dental Consultants' of Nigeria, a member of Nigeria Medical Association, a member of Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Nigeria. A fellow of Society of Family Physician of Nigeria and a Fellow of West African College of Physicians and a Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
